I 23m have an allergy to pets and to every tree, grass, and weed. This is something I was born with and have dealt with my whole life. I’ve been taking to a girl and she basically is like I’m gonna have animals. Don’t get me wrong I love animals but I simply can’t have a lifestyle with them in the house. It’s just annoying to me that people prioritize animals over giving me a chance in dating. I’m a human being and feel like I’m being pushed away because of my genetics.

I see so many dating profiles of women loving their pets and being like “you must love animals.” I just don’t know how to navigate this or if my feelings are normal or not. It just feels like yet another reason my dating life feel impossible to have success with.
